MIXED TRAIN DERAILED
ELEVEN WAGONS LEAVE LINE EXPRESS DELAYED Press Association DUNEDIN, To-day. A mixed train from Oamaru came to grief near Waikouaiti at 6 p.m. yesterday, 11 waggons being derailed. Apparently one waggon jumped the rails and was dragged some distance on the ballast before capsizing and derailing the rest. No passengers were injured. The Christchurch-Dunedin express was held up all night, but passengers were transferred to a train beyond and arrived at Dunedin at 12.40 a.m.
