BOER WAR VETERANS
REUNION TO-MORROW EVENING In recognition of his service as treasurer of the South African War Veterans’ Association since its inception, members at the annual meeting made Mr. A. G. Bertram a life member, and a life honorary member of the executive. Lieut.-Colonel E. G. Fraser presided, and the balance sheet showed a surplus of £3O. The annual reunion will be held to-morrow evening at St. Benedict’s Hall, Newton. The following officers were elected: Patron, Colonel H. R. Potter; vicepatrons, Lieut.-Colonel J. E. Duigan, Lieut.-Colonel J. Hardie Neil, Lieut.Colonel A. M. Samuels, Lieut.-Colonel T. H. Dawson, and Messrs Claude Jewell, and C. G. Macindoe; president, Lieut.-Colonel E. G. Fraser; vicepresidents, Captain W. Atwell and Mr. I ; J. G. Camp: executive, Major T. P. 1 lalpin. Captain J. A. Algie, Messrs. G. Rotheray. C. Johnson, C. J. Little. J. Hughes. \V. Cassidy. A. Reid. G. McEwin: delegate to the forthcoming conference with the Government at Wellington, Lieut.-Colonel Fraser: honorary secretary, Mr. W. G. Marks; honorary treasurer and assistant secretary, Captain J. D. McComish.
