Leser, M.A., of Bloomington, Indiana, U.S.A., Assistant Professor of modem languages at Indiana University was a passenger by the Aorangi on Sunday last and is on a visit to her lister, Mrs. G. Leser, of Abbots Way, Remuera. The death of Mr. Howard J. S. Ellis, formerly headmaster of the New Lynn school, was referred to with regret by the Auckland Education Board today.
