RADIO PROGRAMMES
Sir, — It is interesting to read the many and varied views on radio programmes. May I add mine as one who has of !at© been heartily tired of the stale programmes hashed up to us? I must say last Saturday night was a distinct improvement. No matter how good they are. one gets tired of the same voices night after night ad infinitum. It seems to me that the whole performance has been cut up between a few little cliques that have bored us to desperation. I note one of your correspondents suggests more gramophone records. It would be just as great an error to overdo this branch of music. What is wanted is variety. More lectures, I think, would be acceptable. CRYSTAL SET.
