FIRE IN WELLINGTON
RESTAURANT BADLY DAMAGED BUTCHER’S SHOP AFFECTED Press Association. WELLINGTON, Tuesday. Harris’s restaurant on the first floor ol a two-storey building in Lambton Quay with its contents was severely damaged by fire last evening, and the contents of a butcher’s shop, occupied by Barber and Co., were damaged by smoke and water. The building, which belongs to the Foresters Lodge Court Sir George Grey, was insured for £6,000 and the machinery and contents of the butcher’s shop for £1,450, in the North British and Mercantile.'
