BUILD A SET YOURSELF
Many people, if asked to build a radio set would say it is beyond them but manufacturers of popular sets have made it so that there are no very great difficulties in the way of constructing a set from the kits now on the market. These kits are complete in every respect and the instructions which accompany them are so lucid that the merest tyro should have no difficultly in constructing a set that will give entire satisfaction. Care must, however be exercised in selecting a suitable kit of good components, and also to make sure that the kit is a complete one. A very attractive kit now on the market is the official Browning-Drake 5-valve set. This is a favourite circuit with many experienced listeners, and on account of its great selectivity is eminently suitable for N.Z. conditions This kit is sold complete with everything at a moderate figure. A circuit diagram is shown on this page, and should prove useful to home-constructors, while the master agent. Radio. Ltd., will supply further information if required.
