TRACE OF AMUNDSEN?

WHEEL-TRACKS IN SNOW FISHERMEN’S DISCOVERY (United PA. —By Telegraph—Copyright J (Australian and X.Z. Press Association.) (United Service) need 2.16 pm. OSLO, Tues. A party of fishermen told the Norwegian Admiralty that they had discovered on Bear Island plateau, two wheel tracks extending for 80 feet in the snow, leading to the edge of a cliff above the sea. On the edge of the cliff they found a piece of a fur coat, a fur cap, and a fragment of wood. The Admiralty is investigating whether these clues are connected with Capt. Roald Amundsen. Bear Island is in the Arctic Ocean, 315 miles south of Spitsbergen. The centre of the island. Mount Misery, rises to a height of 1,759 feet. 3 - Q‘~.~.~.~h
