FIGURES SHOW INCREASE Press Association WELLINGTON, To-day. The dairy division grading figures for the 11 months ending June 30, show an increase for butter of 3.8 per cent, at 73,859 tons, and for cheese a decrease of 0.95 per cent, at 75,359 tons. As compared with the corresponding period of the preceding season reduced to terms of butter-fat the equivalent grading of dairy produce for the 11 months shows an increase of 2.31 per cent, over the gradings for the corresponding period of the preceding season. N.Z. BREWERIES, LTD. At the annual meeting of New Zealand Breweries, Limited, which is to be held next Friday afternoon, the following notice of motion will be submitted:— “In view of the tact that all the present directors of the company are either directors or representatives of companies which were vendors to this company and that there are no directors on the board elected from the shareholders of the company outside the vendors’ interests, it is resolved that two additional directors be appointed from among such outside shareholders, and if this resolution be carried, that the meeting proceed forthwith without further notice to call for nominations and to elect such additional directors.” The three retiring directors are Messrs. R. W. M. Greenslade, Alfred Louisson, and Hugh T. Speight, and they offer themselves for re-election.
