Bank Rate Reduced
TO TAKE EFFECT FROM JULY 9 Press Association WELLINGTON, To-day. THE chairman of the Associated Banks announces that on and after Monday, July 9, the minimum overdraft rate will be reduced from 7 per cent, to per cent., and that the rates of interest paid on fixed deposits will be as under:— For any period between three and 12 months, 3J per cent, per annum. Between 12 and 24 months, 4 per cent. Over 24 months, 4J per cent.
