OUTSTANDING SUCCESS OF MERRY MAORI MAIDS AT MAJESTIC THEATRE
T> RING ESS TE PUEA and her merry Maori maids and warriors from the Waikato have made such a success at the Majestic Theatre that they have had tlieir engagement extended for another week. They appeared last evening in a change of programme, which included the famous lament of the late King Maliuta, a song which he sang to his people in the Waikato two days prior to his death. At the conclusion of the Aucklana season , the Princess and party will visit Wellington at the invitation of Mr. Coates, Native Minister, and the four Maori members of Parliament. The proceeds from entertainments there will also go toward the erection of the hostel hospital which is the immediate aim of the chieftainess for Ngartiawahia.
