“BEAU SABREUR’’ ‘‘Beau Sabreur,” a companion picture to the popular story, “Beau Geste.” will be shown this evening at the Bri- ' tannia Theatre. • Love for one’s country, rivalling a ' man’s love for a girl, forms the main ' theme of this picture, and about this : love there has been brought into play some thrilling adventures on the great Sahara, battles between a handful of French soldiers and desert wolves. Major Henri de Beaujolais, of the French Foreign Legion, once overstayed his leave in Algiers for a woman, and is thrown into prison. His uncle, General de Beaujolais, has plans for a great French Empire in the Sahara, and asks his nephew to undertake the work if he will take a solemn vow never to look at another woman, to live and die for France. General de Beaujolais then makes him one of the secret service, and orders him to Sahara to study the ways, and customs, and get other data on the Arabs. The leading players are Gary Cooper. Noah Beery, Evelyn Brent, and William Powell. A delightful comedy-drama, “His [ Bog." a story of the regeneration of a | man through love for his dog, will also ; be shown.
