ROAD IMPROVEMENT
RANGITIKEI PROVIDES JOSS FOR WORKERS (Special to THE SUN) MARTON, To-day. Th© Rangitikei County Council is providing work for all men out of work in the county under the Government subsidy scheme. The work will chiefly b© the widening of corners on the bad stretches of road between Hunterville and Taihape, and with £1 for £1 subsidy up to £2,000, it is expected to relieve considerably the unemployed position in the district.
