MRS. SARAH WILLIS
Mrs. Sarah Willis, who died at her son’s home at Te Papapa on Thursday, at the age of 86, was the widow of the late Mr. W. Willis. Born at Portadown, Belfast, she married Mr. Willis there, and came to New Zealand in the sailing ship Hereford, arriving at Lyttelton about 50 years ago. Mr. Willis engaged in farming at Southbridge, Canterbury, but 18 years later the family came to the North Island, Mr. Willis taking up farming at Ramarama, Drury, where he died 16 years ago. Mrs. Willis is survived by one son, Mr. W. J. Willis, of Te Papapa, and one daughter, Mrs. R. N. Pilkington, of Hamilton East.
