ANZAC DAY SERVICE^. OF AUCKLA ND. I) ay. 1928. THIRTEENTH ANNIVERSARY OF THE LANDING OF THI-: NEW ZEALAND FORCES OX GALLIPOLI PENINSULA. COMMEMORATIVE SERVICE AT 11 A.M. rpOWN JJALL. OITY A Service, commemorative of the New Zealanders who fell in the Great War. will be held on WEDNESDAY, APRIL 25. 1923, at the Town Hall, Auckland. at 11 a.m. The Service will be conducted by HIS WORSHIP THE MAYOR OF AUCKLAND, presiding-, i REV. EVAN R. HARRIES/ I REV. ANGUS MACDONALD, 0.8. E., former Chaplain of the Forces. REV. G. T. ROBSON. M.C., R.N., former Chaplain of the Forces. Doors will be open at 10.15 a.m. for admission of next-of-kin who, upon application, may obtain admission tickets to the Gallery from the Secretary, Returned Soldiers’ Association, Soldiers’ Club, Customs Street East. Seats will be reserved for ticket-hold-ers until 10.45 a.m., when the public will be admitted. The Ground Floor will be reserved for Returned Soldiers and Veterans. A Parade will take pla'ce from the Queen's Wharf to the Town Hall, and Returned Soldiers are earnestly requested to take part therein. CENOTAPH, TOWN HALL.—Citizens may deposit Floral Tributes at the base of the Cenotaph in front of the Town Hall, and such tributes will be taken to the Soldiers’ Memorial at Waikumete. After the conclusion of the above Service, the ceremony of depositing the official wreaths at the Cenotaph will take place Seats not exceeding 100 in number, will be placed within the Cenotaph enclosure for the use of elderly Mothers of Fallen Soldiers, tickets for which may be obtained from the Secretary of the' Returned Soldiers’ Association, or the Honorary Secretary, Southern Cross League. WAIKUMETE CEMETERY.—A Service, presided over by his Worship the Mayor, -will be held at the Soldiers’ Memorial, Waikumete Cemetery, at 3 o’clock p.m., when the Rev. Canon Percival E. James will deliver an Address. A train will leave Auckland for Glen Eden at 2 p.m., returning from that Station at 4.40 p.m. SECONDARY SCHOOLS.—A Service will also be held at the Town Hall at 3 p.m., for the Scholars attending the various Secondary Schools in Auckland and District.
