TE KUiTI INTERESTED (From Our Own Correspondent) TE KUITI, To-day. In view of the imminent development of commercial aviation in New Zealand, the possibilities of Te Kuiti as a taking-off centre have been exercising the minds of prominent residents for some time past. With a view to having these thoroughly ’ investigated, a committee of ratepayers is to be formed. A local resident has been in communication with a well-known authority on flying, who has promised to make a flight from Auckland to Te Kuiti within the next fortnight, provided that a suitable landing-place is available. Such a landing-ground must be at least 200 yards square, fairly level, and free from telegraph and electric service lines. Persons owning likely property have been asked to report, and the proposed committee will inspect at the earliest moment. M
