“DOWN WITH MURDERERS”
INSULTS GREET FASCIST VISITORS HUNGARIAN PARLIAMENT (United P.A.—By Telegraph — Copyright) (Australian Press Association) VIENNA, Wednesday. Unexpected scenes occurred in the Hungarian Parliament when the Premier, Count Bethlen, welcomed 25 Italian Fascist Parliamentarians. Members ot the Opposition cried: “Down with the murderers of Matteotti. What do you want here?” When Count Bethlen said to the visitors: “The whole Hungarian nation welcomes you,” the storm burst out afresh. Cries of: “It is a lie,” and “Murderers,” were hurled at the embarrassed Italians. Count Albert Apponyi, a former Premier, accused the Opposition of committing an international outrage.
