Y.M.C.A. SOCCER CLUB
The annual meeting of the Y.M.C.A. ! Football Club took place last evening, j a record attendance of 50 members, | including several new players, being present. In the absence of the club , president, Mr. E. E. Kitchener, Mr, H. W. Riddolls took the chair. The following officers were elected: President, Mr. E. E. Kitchener; vicepresidents, Messrs. R. L. Stewart, W. D. M. Glaister, Harrison, W. E. Bush, W. R. Ellingham, W. J. Holdswor'th, B. B. Hooper, J. Ambury, C. J. Tunks, A. T. Dow, S. J. Smith, L. Skipwith, H. R. Jenkins, E. Stallworthy, C. Hickson, J. Ball, H. W. Riddolls, E. H. Bowley, T. Dick, W. Goodman, A. Milne; delegates to A.F.A., Messrs. G. T. Lee, S. J. Smith, H. W. Riddolls, P. Humphreys; club captain, Mr. W. Tyson; field captain, Mr. P. Humphreys; sports secretary, Mr. J, H. Miller; assistant secretary, Mr. J. Hoban. It was decided to instruct delegates to support the proposals suggested by the A.F.A. Management Committee referring to collection of ground fees.
PARNELL LEAGUE CLUB
The annual meeting of the Parnell Club was held last night, there being a very good attendance. The annual report stated it was to be regretted that the club had lost its ground owing to the council making roads through the property for an eastern outlet for traffic. Arrangements were now being made for the club to use the Domain for training purposes. The financial statement showed a credit balance of £3O 2s lid. Several new members were enrolled. The following officers were elected: Patron, Air. J. A. Lee, M.P.; vice-pre-sidents, same as last year, with four added: chairman, Mr. T. Wells; treasurer, Mr. G. Davies; hon. secretary, Air. A. R. Turner; assistant secretary, Air. G. Smith; senior delegate to Auckland Rugby League, Air. P. Barry; junior delegate, Mr. L. Heilburn; club captain, Air. R. Brockliss; coach, Mr. W. Little; committee, Messrs. Wells, Turner, Davies, Brockliss, Clark, Little, Sloman, McArthur, Ritchie, McClure, Anderson.
TE AWAMUTU ROVERS CLUB
(From Our Own Correspondent J TE AWAMUTU, Thursday. The following officers were elected at the annual meeting of the Rovers Club, held at Te Awamutu on Thursday evening, at which Mr. H. S. Haselden took the chair: President, Mr. F. E. Loomb; vice-presidents, Messrs. F. Harris, J. J. Walker, C. J. Carthy, H. E. Wenham, T. Davis, R. G. Hodges and S. A. McNamara; club captain, Air. O. Crotty; secretary and treasurer, Air. O. Finch; delegates to W.R.U. annual meeting. Messrs. C. Crotty and H. T. Haselden; representative on management committee, Mr. Haselden; executive committee, Messrs. F. Ticklepenny, S. Narbey, G. Ticklepenny, W. Ryan. S. Narbey, H. T. Haselden and the senior captain; auditor, Mr. G. H. Rodger; selectors, Messrs. C. Crotty (seniors) and W. Ryan (juniors). it was agreed to nominate senior and junior teams for competitions. Mr. W. Ryan was appointed manager of the junior team. The meeting was in favour of a sole selector for each team, and the delegates to the union annual meeting were instructed to support a motion in favour of sole selectors for rep. teams.
