WATCH ON THE THAMES
MORE HIGH TIDES FEARED British Wireless —Press Assn. —Copyright RUGBY, Sunday. Owing to the probability of further high tides in the Thames a special watch is being kept on the river at points which suffered in the recent disaster. So far there has been no repetition of the flooding, and the new concrete wall that was hastily built to fill the breach made In the brick structure at the foot of Lambeth Bridge was completed yesterday. An exceptionally high tide some hours later revealed a margin of fully five feet between the water level and the top of the new wall. —A. and N.Z.
