This is a splendid tribute to the horse and as the tale unfolds both human and equine actors go through a series of adventures that are of absorbing interest. A fine romance involving Buck and Audrey Evans, played by Lola Todd, supplies the love interest, while Buck's efforts to win her dejy>ite the opposition of an officer wfto wants to marry the girl himself, furnishes the picture with plenty of pomedy. All in all, “The War Horse” is the kind of picture that is certain to please every member* of the family.
