At the wool sales 0,694 bales were sold, of which 6,025 were Australian and 3.20* New Zealand. There was an average selection of Merinos and an excellent offering of greasy crossbreds, with a limited supply of other sorts. Good general competition was the order and prices were fully maintained. New Zealands: Putiti. 24d top, 21|d average; Bee. 26d, 23d; O/AHW, 22d, 114 At Bradford prices are very firm all round, but business is distinctly quieter.—A. and N.Z. HIDES ADVANCE AGAIN AUCKLAND SALE * The upward trend of the hide market was again registered at the hide and skin sale held in Auckland this afternoon. Hides advanced approximately id on the last Auckland sale. Sheepskins were not so keenly sought after though values were maintained at late levels. Prices ranged as follow: Sheepsk Ins.—Ha Ifb red, 13|d to 14£d; fine crossbred, 12Jd to 13Jd; half to threequarter bred, 10|d to Hid; quarter wool, W to 9|d; pelts, 7Jd to Bid; lambs, 14i<i.
