RIFLE SHOOTING

CITY AND SUBURBS CLUB The City and Suburbs Club fired the final shoot in the series for trophies preented by Messrs. G. S. Kent and P. Spencer on Saturday last, over 800 and 900yds. A “puffy” left wind had the competitors working hard and only a few got through the ordeal with respectable scores. A. T. Patrick and Ivan Spry won spoons in their respective grades. The A grade competition resulted in a tie between H. JVerrall and C. J. M. Clark with five points each, the latter winning the shoot off with three “bulls” to two “bulls” and an “inner.” B grade also resulted in a tie bet wen H. W. V 1 and G. G.
