WAIKATO FARMING
LAMBS AND HAY The hay harvests throughout the Waikato, while reported to be generally light, have been saved well and are in excellent mature condition. Ruakura State Farm has rather a heavy crop from 70 acres. A second draft of 440 lambs has been sent down from the farm for shipment, making 850, or 93 per cent, of the season’s lambs despatched to date. The first lot weighed out well, averaging 36.6.
