EVERYBODY’S

“THE RED RAIDERS” “The Red Raiders,” the First National picture now being shown at Everybody’s Theatre, is an authentic phase of the invasion of the West, the most adventurous chapter of the early history of the United States. It is based on the historical settlement of the North-west and the hectic period which preceded the establishment of the first Government Indian reservation, marking the end of hostilities between them and the whites in that region. A notable feature of “The Red Raiders” is the exacting type of Indians chosen to represent their forefathers. For once the Indian has been expertly cast—made to fit the period of the picture to perfection. Ken Maynard, making a departure from his customary cowboy types of roles, enacts the part of an army lieutenant stationed at the military post in the Indian hotbed. With his spirited wonder horse, Tarzan, he is seen to excellent advantage in a character exceptionally well suited to his talents. His daredevil riding is demonstrated again with added sensations, and he proves there is no end to his assortment of riding tricks.
