ORANGE BLOSSOMS

SEARANCKE—BUNTING The wedding took place at the Anglican Church, Otaki, recently, by the Rev. G. K. Moir, of Thelma Iris, eldest daughter of Mr. R. Bunting, late of Hamilton, and Harold Francis, youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. F. S. Searancke, old residents of Te Horo. The bride, who was given away by Mr. H. Noble, of Otaki, wore a frock of pale pink crepe de chine, embroidered with pearls and trimmed with silver lace. Her veil was or palest pink, held in place with a coronet of orange blossom. Silver shoes and stockings completed her toilet, and her bouquet was of pink roses and sweet peas. The bridesmaid, Miss Marie McCardle, of Otaki, wore a frock of rose pink crepe de chine, trimmed with cream lace. Her bouquet was of sweet peas and viyellas. The bridegroom was attended by Mr. Clarence Robinson, of Otaki, as best man. After the ceremony a reception was held at the sanatorium, Miss Pownall, matron of the institution, receiving the guests. The health of the bride and bridegroom was proposed by the Rev. G. K. Moir, to which the bridegroom replied. Mr. and Mrs. Searancke left later by car for the south, the bride travelling in a frock of green brocaded crepe de chine, with hat to match, and a Mongolian fox fur, the gift of the bridegroom.
