AN UNWELCOME KISS
DRUNKEN MAN FINED Press Associaliott. CHRISTCHURCH, Thursday. Henry Herbert Pearce, for assault - ing Clarence Raymond Hancock, whilst the latter was escorting a young lady along the street yesterday evening, was fined £5, in default one month’s imprisonment. The police evidence showed that accused was under the influence of liquor and threatened to kiss the woman, who took refuge in a gateway.
