NEW POLICY WANTED OARAGE AND SUPERVISION The provision of a garage, and prosupervision of the use of the City Council cars and motor-cycles, was ftrecorarnended to the council by its Msj*kel: and Stores Committee last evening. The report suggested that the first consideration was the reduction in the n j nber of makes of car in use, not mere than four makes each of cars and trucks being recommended. The committee considered it essential that there should be an up-to-date garage, equipped for small repairs, cleaning, etc., and that this, and the use of 2ars should be supervised by ail officer to be appointed. This garage should be reasonably close to the Town t all. Except in special, cases, private garaging by officials should be discouraged.
