SERVICE ROADS BLOCKED

TRAFFIC DISORGANISED RAIN AT OPOTIKI (From, Our Own Correspondent) OPOTIKI, To-day. The heavy rains which have been experienced for some days past between Gisborne and Opotiki have resulted in the complete disorganisation of traffic by rail and road. It is considered that train services will be stopped for about three days. A washout is reported on the main road. No mails were received from Gisborne yesterday. It is expected passenger traffic to Auckland from Gisborne will be resumed to-morrow by the car services.
