VISIT TO HUNTLY A CORDIAL WELCOME (From Our Own Correspondent.) HUNTLY. To-day. The Australian. Boys’ Soccer team, in charge of Messrs. F. E. Page and E. Holmes, and accompanied by Mr. R. Harrison, of Auckland, arrived by the Thames express yesterday and were met by Mr. E. George, 'the chairman, and members of the town board, and escorted to the Town Hall, where a civic welcome, largely attended, was accorded the visitors. Mr. George stressed the importance of the visit, and Mr. Holmes breezily responded and emphasised the splendid treatment the party was receiving in New Zealand. The visitors, after luncheon as the guests of the board, proceeded to Hamilton as the guests of Mr. Geo. Cox, secretary of the South Auckland Football Association, at afternoorf tea, later proceeding to inspect the Ruakura Experimental Farm and view the New Zealand film, “Carbine’s Heritage,” in the Town Hall here. A private screening of Rotorua was given again this morning. On behalf of the visitors Mr. Holmes presented Mr. George with a souvenir booklet of the tour, autographed by Mr. S. Bruce, Prime Minister of Australia. Heavy rain fell last night and the weather is overcast this morning. The ground will be heavy for the match with South Auckland this afternoon.

New Zealand Yacht Squadron, Air. R. Mays; and also the Manukau Yacht Club, Auckland Rowing Club and the Christchurch Cruising Club. Mr. R. Mays thanked the Tamaki Club for their hospitality and remarked on the progress the club had made in the last two years. Mr. Mays entertained the dancers with some yachting reminiscences.
