According to statements which were made at a congress of German dentists patients throughout the world are suffering slow poisoning as the effect of the cheap composition used in filling teeth. Professor Fleishmann said that there was no clanger in the expensive compositions, which contained platinum and gold. The commonest composition, containing copper, was likelj' to lead to the poinning of the system by mercury. The members of the congress decided not to use the cheap composition until system of protection against its dangers was discovered. —Sun.
