AUCKLAND GUN CLUB

MEETING AT PANMURE The members of the Auckland Gun Club held a series of matches at the Panmure grounds. A pleasing feature of the day was the success of some of the younger members. The first match (sparrows) was won by Duncan Kellett (16 yards), with the possible of 4. Five tied for second place, C. Hodge winning the shoot-off. The second match was won by D. Cairns (16 yards), with the possible of 4. Seven tied for second, F. H. Seccombe (23 yards) winning the shootoff. The third match (clay birds) was won by H. Knight (12 yards), with seven first barrel kills, an excellent performance. J. E. Fitt (17 yards) was runner-up with six kills. The final clay match was divided between F. H. Seccombe (19 yards) and F. E. McKenzie (13 yards) with the possible of seven kills. Another series of matches will be held next Wednesday.
