THE N.Z. ASSOCIATION ANNUAL MEETING At the annual meeting of the New Zealand Stock Exchange Association, held at Christchurch on Monday, Mr. Harman Reeves, chairman of tlie Dunedin Stock Exchange, was elected president of tlie association for the ensuing year, and Mr. George C. Creagh, of Auckland, vice-president. The retiring chairman, Mr. Frank Graham, in his presidential address, dealt in a comprehensive manner with the financial conditions prevailing during the past year, and was accorded a hearty vote of thanks for the services rendered to the association. A number of matters of interest to sharebrokers and the public was dealt with, including the question of vendors* shares in new companies. The question was fully discussed and rules governing transactions in connection with these shares were drawn up and adopted. The retiring secretary, Mr. C. D. Morpeth, was re-elected.
