WIFE’S THROAT CUT HUSBAND IN CRITICAL STATE By Cable, —Press Association.—Copyright Reed. 10.20 a.m. ADELAIDE, To-day. When the police broke into a house at Roseville, near Mount Gambier, they found the dead body of Myra Francis, aged 20, lying on a bed, with her throat cut. Her husband, William Henry Francis, 24, was lying on the floor with his throat gashed and both wrists cut. He was sent to hospital in a critical condition. It is alleged that Francis murdered his wife and then attempted suicide. —A. and N.Z.
