“SUBORDINATE BUT NOT INFERIOR” KIRK’S DECISION Women shall not be admitted as elders of the Kirk. The Auckland Presbytery rejected a propesa* to admit them by an overwhelming majority after a stern debate last evening. Expressing himself as greatly i favour of admitting women to eldership, the Rev. D.
