The first round of the junior championship resulted: —Mrs. Endean defeated Mrs. Brown, 4 and 3; Miss Mahoney defeated Mrs. Boddington, 5 and 4: Miss C. Bayly defeated Miss Noakes, 4 and .5; Mrs. Gorrie defeated Mrs. Carter, 4 and 3- Mrs. Foster defeated Miss Raiger, s*and 4; Mrs. Pugh defeated Mrs. Martin, 4 and 3; Miss K. Clark defeated Miss Kent, 7 and 6. The second round will be played next Tuesday. The monthly bogey match will also be played next Tuesday. Post entries will be received, players to choose partners. Open Ladies’ Day Titi-rangi ladies will hold an open day to-mOrrow. ~ Play will commence at 9 a.m. The draw is as follows: — The Titirangi Ladies’ Golf Club will hold an open day tournament to-morrow. A medal round will commence at nine o’clock, and from then on at three-minute intervals in the order of the draw. Any player not on the tee strictly to time must go to the end of the draw.
