MEETING OF EXECUTIVE The weekly meeting of the Management Committee of the Auckland Football Association was held last evening. The Ponsonby Club was granted permission to transfer G. Cox from the senior grade to the second grade. The following players of the Royal Navy Club were regraded from the seniors to the third division; Webb, Stables, Lawrence, Jaggars, Woodruff, Walker, Walsh and Black. Adams and Robertson were regraded from the Birkenhead juniors to the third grade. It was resolved to allot £7 to the Referees’ Association for the purpose of enabling a delegate to attend the annual meeting of the New Zealand Referees’ Association on Friday week. It was agreed that a replay in the Dacre Cup competition should take place on Saturday between Takanini and Thistle, the first meeting of which resulted in a draw. The charges of admission for the representative match between Auckland, holders, and Wellington for the English Football Association trophy at Blandford Park on Saturday were fixed at Is, Is 6d and 3s.
