KAURI GUM
(From Our Oxen Correspondent.) WHANGAREI, To-day. The supplies of kauri gum received into Whangarei stores during July totalled 171 tons less than those received during the corresponding month last year. For each month this year a reduction is recorded in the quantity sent in compared with the corresponding periods in 1925 and 1926. This is largely accounted for by unfavourable weather conditions. Details of the supplies in the first seven months of the current and two preceding years are as follow: Tons. Tons. Tons. 1927. 1926. 1925.
