Bookmaking Charge
ARREST IN CITY MAN BEFORE COURT JOSEPH GEORGE REES, aged 55. was arrested at 1 o’clock today on a charge of carrying on business as a bookmaker. He appeared before Mr. W. R. McKean. S.M., in the Police Court this atternoon. and on the application of I Senior-Detective Hammond was remanded till July 39. Bail was fixed at .€IOO.
