VIOLENT MAN CURBED FOR TWO MONTHS
“A LAZY INDIVIDUAL” ‘ TTF is a Jazy individual —a violXI lent man, well out of the way just now." These remarks were made by ChiefDetective Cummings when Victor Henry Thomas, aged 31, was charged at the Police Court this morning with being idle and disorderly and stealing a savings bank book and letter valued at Is. It was stated that accused had assaulted a man and robbed him of the book and letter. Detective Snedden said that accused had done no work for some time, and was supported by a woman. Chief-Detective Cummings said that accused had a bad record and had been convicted several times for assault. Twice he had assaulted a woman. He was sentenced to one month’s imprisonment on each charge, the terms to be cumulative.
