LITTLE THEATRE SOCIETY

“THE CASSILIS ENGAGEMENT” “The Cassilis Engagement,” an attractive play by Sir John Hankin, will be produced in the Concert Chamber to-morrow night by the Little Theatre Society. There is a three-nights’ .seaThe plot, which concerns the engagement of a son of the nobility to a working girl, is skilfully woven. Mrs. Cassilis, whose son is engaged to the rather commonplace young woman, arranges that the two young people shall see as much of each other as possible, and invites the girl and her mother to stay in the country. This gives the players a wonderful opportunity for comedy work. Naturally the engagement can never be a success. The reason why is worth a visit to the Concert Chamber.

Mr. Kenneth Brampton is the pro ducer.
