Sunday Labour Meetings. —The New Zealand Labour Party announces that Sunday meetings in the Queen’s Theatre will be discontinued until further notice. Overhead Bridge.— An engineer of the Railway Department has visited Tuakau to repoit on the question ol an overhead bridge, which _ was recently asked for by a deputation. Maori Remanded. —A young Maori, Donald Kaimona, appeared at the Gisborne Police Court this morning charged with breaking and entering a store at Te Karaka, and was remanded. —Press Association. Traffic Act Repeal.— The repeal of the Motor Omnibus Traffic Act and the desirability of setting up a transport board were advocated in a resolution passed by an open-air meeting addressed by Mr. A. Hall Skelton in Onehunga last, evening. Nature Study in South America.— ‘•Nature Study in Latin South America” will be the subject of an, address by Professor Spernn-Johnson a? the Auckland University College on Monday night. The lecture will be delivered under the auspices of the Auckland Institute.
