COASTAL MOVEMENTS— The Katoa sailed from Dunedin at 5 p.m. yesterday via Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington and Picton for Auckland, where she is due next week-end. The Waipiata from Dunedin via Oamaru, Timaru and Lyttelton left Wellington at 5 p.m. yesterday for Auckland, and is expected here to-morrow artei - noon. After discharge she will load at Auckland for Southern ports. _ ... The Karori arrived at Auckland this morning from "Westport via Napier and Gisborne, and is expected to leave -here on Tuesday for Greymouth. She will load at the latter port and complete at Westport for Auckland. The Kanna is to load at Greymouth on Monday and will complete at Westport for Auckland, arriving here about Saturday next. The Kittawa, which has been barbound at Greymouth, was expected to leave last evening for Napier and Auckland and is due here about Friday next. The Karaona arrived at New Plymouth last night from Westport and is expected to clear there this evening for Auckland, where she is due on Tuesday. The Kaimanawa is to leave Lyttelton this afternoon for Auckland direct and should arrive here about Tuesday next.

The Kaiapoi is expected to leave Port land to-day for Westport, where sh< will load for a destination not yet an nounced.

The Westport Coal Company’s steamer Canopus arrived at Auckland this morning from "Westport, and leaves on Tuesday on her return trip to the coal port. The Gunbar is expected here next Friday from the Coast, and sails the following day on her return trip to Gisborne and Napier via bays.

The West Nivaria sailed from Dunedin yesterday morning for New Plymouth, where she completes discharge. She later proceeds to Wellington to load for Honolulu and Pacific Coast ports.

The Huntingdon arrived at Timaru last evening from Bluff and leaves on Monday for Lyttelton, Wellington and Auckland to complete her loading for Home. The Maimyo arrived at Wellington last evening from Auckland and sails on Monday for Lyttelton, Dunedin and Newcastle to discharge the remainder of her New York cargo.

The Tiroa, arriving to-morrow from the coast, sails again on the return trip on Monday.

The Mako is expected from East Coast Bays about Thursday next week. She will leave later in the week for the same ports.

The Waipu, sailing at 1.45 p.m. to-day for Waiheke, returns to port again at 6.30 p.m. to-morrow from Surfdale, Awaroa Bay, Orapiu and Cowes Bay.

The Rangitoto, arriving from Thames at 5.30 p.m. to-day, goes on slip on Monday to have her hull cleaned and painted. She resumes running on Wesnesday, sailing at 7.15 a.m. on that day for Thames. The Omana, leaving for Surfdale, Ostend and Omiha at 9.45 a.m. to-mor-row, returns again at seven o’clock the same evening. The Taniwha, leaving for Paeroa at 6.30 p.m. to-morrow, is due back again at seven o'clock on Tuesday morning.

The Claymore sails for Wanganui at 5 p.m. to-morrow and returns again at 7.30 a.m. on Tuesday.

The Ngapuhi, arriving from Tauranga at 7 a.m. to-morrow, leaves at seven o’clock on Monday evening on the return trip. The Hauiti, sailing for Surfdale, Ostend, and Omiha at 10 a.m. on Monday, returns to port again at 3.15 p.m. the same day.

The Kawau leaves for Kawau Island. Leigh, and Mangawai at 5.30 a.m. on Monday, and returns again at 7 p.m. on Tuesday. The Richardson steamer Awahou is due frommhe coast to-morrow evening or early on Monday morning. She will load on Monday and Tuesday and sail at 5 p.m. on Tuesday for Tokomaru Bay, Tolaga Bay and Gisborne. The lonic is due at Port Chalmers today from Lyttelton, and leaves on Wednesday next for Bluff to complete her discharge of London cargo.

The Matatua is due at Wellington today from Auckland to continue discharge of Liverpool cargo. The Port Dunedin arrived at Napier last evening from Auckland to complete her discharge of London cargo. She will later commence her loading at the same port for Genoa, Marseilles and London.

The Tekoa is to leave Dunedin to-day for New Plymouth to put out the remainder of her Liverpool cargo. The Port Pirie will leave Lyttelton on Monday for New Plymouth and Wellington to complete her loading for Home.
