IF YOU HAD A FAMILY
A famous old woman Once lived in a shoe, Her children were hungry And numerous, too.
And when they were noisy, And hurt her poor head, She held the opinion They were better in bed.
If you had a family, So big that the shoe Was no use whatever. Now. what w« ’. you do? Why, love them, of course And keep them together, And build them a home To keep out the weather.
And make them a garden For hyacinths blue. And violets and poppies, And marigolds, too.
