Sir Sarwat Pasha, the Egyptian Prime Minister, in an interview with the “Daily Mail,” said: “I am certain that the sympathetic welcome to us who personify Egypt here will mark a new era in the story of our relations with Great Britain. “Always I have worked for and hoped for a better accord between Great Britain and Egypt, and I can assure you that this desire reflects the sentiments of the whole population of Egypt.”—A. and N.Z.
