BLIND INSTITUTE TO GET BOXING PURSE
THE “DELANEY” CASE The Northern Boxing Association has decided not to pay “Kid Delaney” the loser’s share of the purse in the recent fight with Matt Hatton, and has donated the amount, £lB, to the Jubilee Institute for the Blind. The Judiciary Committee of the N.Z. Boxing; Council has advised the N.B.A. that the facts seem sufficient justification for the cancellation of “Delaney’s” licence. The matter will be considered at the next meeting of the New Zealand Council.
