POULTRY SHOW PROTEST
YELLAND ROSE BOWL The interest taken in the Auckland Poultry Show, at the Drill Hall, Rutland Street, on the first day, was continued yesterday, when there was again a large attendance. The show has been a very satisfactory one. A protest was received against the award of the Yelland Rose Bowl, for the best utility Rhode Island Red, on the grounds that the pullet was 12 ounces over the weight limit. The protest has been upheld, and Mrs. F. J. Lawnsborough has been awarded the trophy for her utility cockerel.
