£lO ffi be Football Competition £lO NO ENTRANCE FEE Send in as Many Coupons as You Like ! A change has been necessitated in this week’s football coupon, owing to the fact that only one Senior A grade League match will be played on Saturday, while the Senior A grade Rugby fixtures are suspended this week, owing to the match between Auckland and the Maori team at Eden Park on Saturday. It has, therefore, been decided to include in this week’s coupon the Ranfurly Shield match between Wairarapa and Hawke’s Bay at Masterton, the third Soccer test between Canada and New Zealand, at Wellington, and the Rugby match between Auckland and the Maoris. In addition, two hockey fixtures, which will be played at Remuera on Saturday, are also included, bringing the total number of matches for this week up to nine. The coupon, which was held up this week owing to the League fixture list not being available until last night, will be published in to-night’s and to-morrow night’s issues, the competition closing at the usual time, 10 a.m. on Saturday morning. The prize wlil be awarded to the reader who correctly forecasts the nine results. CUT ALONG THIS LINE Matches Played Saturday, July 9 REPRESENTATIVE RUGBY AUCKLAND v N.Z.
