HEAVY-TRAFFIC FEES
TAKAPUNA WON’T PAY TEST CASE TO DECIDE The position of local bodies and their obligation to pay heavy traffic fees will be the subject of a test case in Auckland. Takapuna Borough Council has declined to pay fees, for its heavy vehicles, to the city council, and resolved to defend any demand for them. The .North Shore body has now decided to state a case for the opinion of the Supreme Court,, and the city council has agreed to this method of solving the problem.
