WOMAN ATTACKED BY LANDOWNER
TRESPASS RESENTED Resenting the persistence with which people trespassed on his waterfront property at Northcote, an aged landowner attacked two women whom he found on his beach. He was charged at the Police Court this morning with assault. Mr. R. A. Singer, who appeared for defendant, said he had apologised to the women and they were prepared to accept that. He asked, therefore, that the information should be dismissed and de- ; fendant’s name suppressed. The magistrate. Mr. W. R. McKean, | S.M., followed counsel’s suggestions. i
