RABELAISIAN GREETING
RESTAURANT INCIDENT EFFUSIVE ONE GOES “DRY” ARCHIBALD McKEE’S indulgence in liquor made his greeting of some women friends in a restaurant too Rabelaisian to be appreciated. He pleaded guilty at the Police Court this morning to a charge of using obscene language. Senior-Sergeant Edwards said dedendant had gone into the restaurant, and recognising the proprietress and her daughters, used the language. He was under the influence of liquor at the time. Owing to McKee’s domestic circumstances he was ordered to pay costs and to take out a prohibition order..
