Brash, secretary of the Dairy Produce Board, went South bv the Limited last evening-. Mr W Wallace, chairman of the Auckland Hospital Board, returned from Wellington yesterday ea Mr. Bruce Smith and Mr. A Grav were among the passengers who went South last evening by the Limited. Colonel Knott, of the Salvation Armv who has been visiting Auckland, returned to Wellington by the express last evening. * Mr. K. M. Ballantyne, the New Zealand illustrator now settled in New Tork, was a passenger for Vancouver by the Aorangi yesterday. He was ac eompanied by his brother, Mr A M Ballantyne, architect, of Chicago. ’ The Maoris in the vicinity of Auckland are arranging a welcome to Dr Ellison, who is to succeed Dr Peter Buck as Director of Native Hygiene.
